BDG-CPAs Internships

Internship Integrated with Your School Schedule

Thank you for your interest in the BDG-CPAs’ internship program. The program is designed to blend academic and CPA Professional experience to accelerate the transition from school to a CPA Professional career.

BDG-CPAs, founded in 1982, is seeking sophomore, junior and senior accounting majors with strong academic credentials to perform audit, accounting, and tax staff accounting services in real-time while carrying on a college schedule. To ensure excellence, the client service performance will be based on extensive training.

The training will be a series of educational courses in increments of 1 and 2 hours, including the following topics:

  • Performing audit procedures using GAAS and PCAOB standards
  • Preparing financial statements under GAAP standards
  • Preparing corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns
  •  Internal controls under COSO and for audit areas assigned to you
  • The many software programs used for audit and tax services
  • Soft skills such as The Balanced Scorecard, Sandler Rules on selling, and more

Participating students will receive a detailed time schedule, prepared collaboratively, that includes clients, client services to be performed, and educational courses that fit in with their college schedule. The client service staff experience will include each of the work topics listed above. A BDG-CPAs laptop will be provided, ready with all audit and tax programs.

Internships can be expected to lead to full-time employment. BDG-CPAs is now a virtual company with nationwide clients.  Big 4 caliber clients (click here) with quality-of-life valued work hours.  We offer flexible work from home or in-office schedules, enabling you to choose where you want to live and work.  Office locations in New York, NY, Charleston, SC, Philadelphia, PA, and Ridgewood, NJ.
