Rachel Votto joined BDG-CPAs in 1999 and was admitted as a partner in 2008. Starting in 2003, she has concentrated mostly in the tax area and was promoted to partner-in-charge of BDG-CPAs tax services in 2012. She will be head of all operations in 2022.
Mike joined BDG-CPAs in 2002, and was admitted as a partner in 2011. He is partner-in-charge of BDG-CPAs Quality Control system and the audit and assurance practice. The practice is comprised primarily of middle-market companies and nearly 100 employee benefit plan audits annually.
Neil Della Torre
Neil founded BDG-CPAs in 1982 after a career with PwC, starting with a 6×8 office and no clients. His founding vision of internal controls, tax savings, and trusted financial statements delivered by top college recruits superbly trained to top CPA Professionals, has been in focus from day one.
Jim joined BDG-CPAs in 1985 and was admitted as a partner in 1992. He is the partner-in-charge of many of BDG-CPAs prominent tax and audit clients. Jim has over three decades of extensive, diversified tax experience, primarily in the partnership and S Corporation area.
PUBLIC RELATIONS DIRECTOR
Herb Partlow has worked for several prominent corporations during his time in San Francisco, including Big 8 (now Big 4) accounting firms KPMG, Arthur Andersen, and Deloitte. He is the Public Relations Director for BDG-CPAs and manages the firm’s on-line presence.

Larry Peters and Neil Della Torre worked together at PwC when 401(k) plans were in their infancy. He joined the BDG-CPAs employee benefit plan audit team in 2010. Larry has extensive CPA firm experience as a New York PwC manager.

Ron serves as our COSO Framework Educator and Advisor in furthering our mission in strengthening clients through a foundation of sound internal controls. He is a member of Kral Ussery LLC, which is a professional services firm delivering professional education.

Joe’s love of accounting and tax was enormously apparent and inspired everyone around him to raise the level of their game. There was only one way to do things – the correct way, and Joe was there to teach you if you wanted to learn.
Joe strived to accomplish the best outcome for his clients, his partners, his colleagues, his friends, and his family. He faced every challenge with grace and dignity that inspired us all.
